Bagpiper for a Funeral, Wedding, Party or Formal Ceremony
I started playing the Great Highland Bagpipe in 1990, and began playing as a second profession four years later. Currently I am serving as Pipe Major for the Grade V division of the Greater Richmond Pipes and Drums. I have played in both solo and band competitions. I continue to play in band competitions during the summer seasons.
In the past I have played twice at the Virginia State Capitol building for events attended by former Governor Mark Warner. I also performed for the rededication of Second Presbyterian Church in Richmond, VA. This event was also attended by Governor Warner. Another performance I was honored to play for was a retirement dinner given for Senator John Warner.
I have played for numerous weddings at locations across the state. The chapel at The University of VA is one of my favorite locations for weddings. Several years ago I played for the wedding of UVA's President Casteen. I frequently play at area golf courses during their tournaments.
